Over the past several years, it has been a dream of mine to open the West Valley Soup & Sauce in partnership with my family and friends. We have enjoyed the quality home style food, convenience and family atmosphere from the many local establishments and restaurants that have offered these services to the Pawtucket Valley residences over the last several decades.

It was with a sense of loss and sorrow as we watched the “soup & sauce” kitchens close one by one over the last 10 years or so. We felt that we had lost a cherished family tradition that we had enjoyed and relied on for so many years.

So, with untold days and nights of discussions – about strategies, style, commitment, and the long hours of dedication and sacrifice that this endeavor would require – we, as a family, decided to move forward with this project. With the help of dear friends and consultants, we have managed to find, recruit, and hire some of the most talented chefs, cooks, and staff who once worked for the most popular soup and sauce kitchens in the area.

We truly believe the good people of the Pawtuxet Valley and Kent County area are ready for the return of a Soup & Sauce Kitchen, and it is our mission to bring back this family tradition to every generation that has grown up on “comfort” foods over the years. We are here to serve!
